Wind Ensemble
These are the core music offerings for high school band. The band performs four concerts per year, and, as Pep Band, at football and basketball games and festivals. There is also an annual tour.

Jazz Band
Jazz Band meets before school in zero period. Participation is by audition, held at the end of each school year (please contact jsteele@ttusd.org for information about auditioning if you are not a current TTUSD student). This band covers advanced jazz techniques including improvisation. Students must also participate in Wind Ensemble/Symphonic Band. Jazz Band performs at school concerts, jazz festivals, and in the community throughout the school year.

Jazz Ensemble
Jazz Ensemble is a non-audition jazz group open to any student. Students develop their technique and skills with the opportunity to audition into Jazz Band later. Jazz Ensemble also meets before school and performs at similar events.

Jazz Combo
This is an extracurricular, small-group jazz combo. Jazz Combo meets after school and is mostly student-run. An emphasis will be on improvisation and student composition. Jazz Combo performs at school concerts, festivals and in the community. Membership is by invitation and this is a student club, not a graded course.
