concert bands
All 6th, 7th, and 8th grade band classes are held during the school day. Band is a year-long course that ACMS offers. Band is offered during 1st period for 8th-grade students, 6th period for 7th-grade students, and 7th period for sixth-grade students.
Every school year, we hold 4 concerts and attend 1 band festival. All dates and information about the program can be found in our ACMS Band Handbook or on the Band Calendar.
Jazz Band
Jazz band is offered before school (zero period). We hold class from 6:54 a.m. to 7:40 a.m. This class is a high-level performing ensemble. This class is invite-only and is composed mainly of 7th and 8th-grade students. At the beginning of each year, students will audition for their seat placement.
Sixth-grade students are welcome to join (invitation only) after the first trimester of school.
